Zygopetalum in bloom

This orchid has finally opened all his blooms–The first time It has bloomed for me–I moved him from the dining room into the kitchen so I can see and smell him more–He was given to me as a rescue plant, and I’ve gotten another Zygopetalum (hybrid) since–I really love these orchids and will be looking to add more to my collection–

Zygopetalums are from humid forests in South America, notably Brazil–

They prefer be kept slightly moist–Being near a window on the west side of the house mine gets shade for part of the day, then filtered afternoon sunlight, which they seem to like–
